Crossing Borders II: An Artistic Engagement
On The Edge - A Workshop Intensive

Encounter new sources of Expression

A three day collaborative workshop with Pilgrim Theatre founders Kim Mancuso and Kermit Dunkelberg, with actor Diane Edgecomb

Fri - Sun, March 11-13

Actors / Musicians / Dancers / Visual Artists:
Discover new and startling possibilities for theatrical expression

A three day collaborative workshop with Pilgrim Theatre founders Kim Mancuso and Kermit Dunkelberg, with actor Diane Edgecomb. Based on their common training with master actors from the Polish Laboratory Theatre.

Beneath language and thought lies a deep associative layer where meaning, ritual and true emotion lie. In this workshop we will begin to encounter this layer exploring ways to listen to and drink from the sources it reveals. Training exercises will include psycho-physical warm-ups to awaken and enliven the senses as well as exercises which develop and open up our imagination. There will be time for guided partner work as well as for solo explorations. Wear comfortable clothing and come prepared to move. Bring a short memorized piece of theatre text or poem. This workshop is open to experienced actors as well as those without previous experience
