Jean-Claude van Itallie and Joe Chaikin's classic solo about a day in the life of a man with aphasia, a condition characterized by the loss of speech communication ability. A triumphant tour-de-force for the seventy-two year old actor Gene-Gabriel Moore, Artistic Director of Not Merely Players (Atlanta, GA) who himself became aphasic after suffering a stroke. Struck Dumb is a co-production of Not Merely Players, 7 Stages and Pilgrim Theatre.
